The Voice Engineer supports the ULAP commercial and support teams with expert knowledge and skills to configure, manage, monitor, and maintain ULAP’s managed VoIP services, including SIP Trunks and Voice Routing.
Job Responsibilities
- Configure ULAP’s new customers’ VoIP Gateways and SIP Trunks based on the requirements provided by ULAP’s commercial teams
- Configure Customer PSTN (E1 to SIP) to VoIP
- Manage customer network settings to enable SIP trunking and routing
- Manage Session Border Controller Configuration
- Liaise with customer support to correct customer issues and perform monitoring of SIP Trunks and configurations
- Provide maintenance and support for all SIP customers including rewriting routing tables
- Experience with Kamailio, Zabbix, and Python
